United Foundries entered the international arena with the purchase of Dorbyl Roll Works from Dorbyl Heavy Engineering of South Africa. Dorbyl Roll Works is now known as SARCO (South African Roll Company). The addition of SARCO provides us with an international manufacturing base and full service to all parts of the world. |

In addition to producing centrifugally cast rolls (using the United horizontal casting technique), SARCO also produces iron mini-mill rolls and a large number of cast steel alloy rolls for a wide variety of applications. |
